Galleria Arthur 1.-30.4.2026
In her exhibition “Comforting Loneliness”, Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna presents paintings and drawings that bring joy and solace to everyone, especially those suffering from loneliness.
The paintings represent different styles from across the years. In addition, a few sculptures and a chalk drawing on a cork surface are on display. The colors glow with the fullness and richness of life — something that can easily be forgotten when working alone, yet which can revive even the most hardened soul with renewed faith in connection and the vitality of life within all of us. It speaks to the inner strength that connects us to nature and to one another.
The exhibition selection of the Helsinki Artists’ Association also includes a series of drawings by the artist depicting humanity’s — possibly a lonely person’s — best friend: the dog. These drawings feature multifaceted and expressive strays in their daily life.
