Faces in the Metro on a Friday Night
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Helsinki metro, a spatial art piece commissioned for the subway platform area of the Helsinki railway station. The four-part concrete installation celebrates ordinary people, subway users. Faces sketched on the spot at the subway station will awaken you to recognize an acquaintance, a friend or yourself from the sculptures. The work reminds us that everyone is important. It brings art to people’s everyday life and everyday people to art.
