Encounter

The exhibition Encounter invites viewers into a visual dialogue where colour, movement, and organic forms evoke hope, inner peace, and meaningful encounters. The artworks encourage a moment of presence – an opportunity to reconnect with oneself and with others, even in the midst of challenging circumstances.

The exhibition nurtures both the senses and the spirit. Located in the main lobby, the exhibition offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and experience the healing power of art.

Jorvi Hospital has hosted numerous art exhibitions with the aim of bringing comfort, joy, and strength to patients, their families, and everyone visiting the hospital.

Encounter presents paintings by Finnish multidisciplinary artist Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna, whose work is deeply inspired by nature, human connection, and the shared cultural roots of humanity. Having lived and worked in Finland, Bali, Cuba, Africa, and across Europe, the artist brings together diverse influences that celebrate compassion, resilience, and the beauty of life.
