A Maid and Child

The wooden sculpture is located at City of Helsinki playground Piika in Malminkartano, a much-loved family playground set in a charming old rural environment. The sculpture reflects the park’s warm and welcoming atmosphere, celebrating the timeless bond between caregiver and child. Surrounded by a place where children of all ages—from babies to schoolchildren—gather to play, explore, and grow, the artwork beautifully complements the spirit of community and everyday family life that makes Playground Piika special.
